Abstract
Prolonged medication waiting time is one of major factor which decides the competitive power between hospital, and also a factor most patients feel uncomfortable about since the pharmaceutical service taken place at the end of medical care procedures and completes the hospital¢¥s image, if needs to be taken care of more actively. We have devoted lot of efforts to shorten the waiting time since 1996 the opening of hospital. But the patients¢¥ contentment degree stayed at low level. The survey showed the actual dispensing time was within an acceptable range but patients¢¥ contentment level concerning the waiting time was not satisfactorily. We found out if was because of the difference between the actual dispensing time and the waiting time patients physically feel, dull surrounding of waiting space which provides no interest other than waiting, monotonous (verbal( instructions about their medication, and lack of information about drug counseling room. We¢¥ve reached to a conclusion there should be mote diverse professional service mode to improve patients¢¥ contentment level and continuos administration to promote the quality of work.
